There are many reasons that every car owner should have a visual inspection and a oil change on a routine basis.  

For starters you never know if a part that has been put on has a manufacture defect or could be failing due to wear, tear, and age. Here at M & M Auto and Diesel we recommend oil change on any gas vehicle every 3k weather you run a synthetic oil or synthetic blend. We suggest this on Vehicles of all ages due to the oil manufactures not accounting for idle time on the vehicle or sitting in traffic at a stand still.  We also recommend tire rotation every other oil change to  ensure proper wear and tear on you tires. During an oil change it is a great time to have a visual inspection of the brakes while your tires are off. For Diesel vehicles we recommend an oil change every 5k and fuel filters every other oil change as well as tire rotation. When providing these service for routine preventive maintenance we will also grease all steering and moving components and check all fluids in vehicle from washer fluid to differential fluids to assist in your vehicle having a long problem free life.
